For more than 10 years, the Rho Tau Lambda Foundation has been committed to providing financial aid to aspiring underrepresented college students in the Baltimore area.
Who are we?
The RTL Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving the Baltimore Metro area.
Our foundation is committed to improving social and economic conditions by educating, empowering, and engaging communities.
Our mission is to provide services and programs that curate progress for our youth, leading to improved stewardship of our city and quality of life.
What do we do?
Educate
Through our education and mentor programs, we provide students in grades 9-12 STEM enrichment, SAT Prep, Life Skills and Career prep training. Our I.C.E. Academy program creates a pathway from high school to completing a successful college career.
Empower
Our fundraising initiatives support our actions to close social inequities by providing conferences and symposiums on education, financial literacy, domestic violence, and other issues impact communities. This includes awarding scholarships to college-bound high school students.
Engage
To maximize our impact on current efforts, we may seek to collaborate with businesses or other nonprofit organizations to provide services or solutions that address individual or family needs within impoverished communities.
